Orphanages

The Tree of Life Foundation International, Inc. supports orphanages and organizations that support orphanages. The foundation aims to help orphaned children with the essential needs such as nutrition, education, security, guidance and to equip them with the skills, knowledge and opportunity to help them live independently in society.

It is estimated that 153 million children worldwide are orphans, an orphan is defined as a child who has lost one or both parents. It is easy to become overwhelmed with the staggering numbers and statistics when thinking of the global orphan crisis, but every effort made towards supporting the orphan crisis is both important and impactful.

In 2008, Tree of Life Foundation International flew to Fondwa, Haiti donated and hand-delivered over 4,000 pounds of food to help Our Lady Fatima Orphanage.

The Tree of Life Foundation International, Inc. donated land and resources to build orphanages, housing, and fund education.The TOLFI team had the opportunity to travel to India in spring of 2019 to visit Puresa Humanitarian and witness first hand how the their support in collaboration with the organization is changing lives. The foundation’s team finally had the opportunity to meet the women and children, who had been rescued from a life of sex slavery and affected by being sex-trafficked .Through the foundation the women and children been providing for financialy throughout these past years. The team visited locations in different parts of India that included Kolkata, Maheshtala, West Bengal and the Red Light District. One of the locations the team visited was the site where a new building that will be a home to sixty women and children will be built, the land for this site was donated by The Tree of Life Foundation International, Inc. as well as enough funds to cover half of the costs to begin construction.
