Every year the Tree of Life Foundation International nominates and honors an organization in each branch, which shares our vision, by presenting them with our Global Heart Award. The awards are granted on a regional and international basis.

Tree of Life Foundation International Honors Recipients of Global Heart Awards Gala
WEST PALM BEACH (February 16, 2011) – The Tree of Life Foundation International presented the 2011 Global Heart Award last Friday, February 11, 2011 honoring 30 nominees representing the 22 branches of the Tree of Life Foundation International. Awards are presented to honorees in recognition of acts of generosity and goodwill demonstrated by extraordinary men, women, and organizations on a local, national, and international scale.

The organization carefully selects its nominees based on organizations and individuals who share the same vision and represent each branch of the Tree of Life Foundation International and included the following local honorees: Dr. Terry Maple of the Palm Beach Zoo, Philip Neal of the Miami City Ballet, Hope Alswang with the Norton Museum of Art, David Miller of the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Robert Needle of C.A.R.P and numerous others.

Says Tree of Life Foundation International Founder, Amanda Schumacher, “It was a spectacular evening with more than 250 guests supporting the organizations and nominees. The event was unlike any award ceremony and the Global Heart Award was truly a heart felt evening with unifying and empowering organizations celebrating together.”

The evening included a red carpet cocktail reception followed by dinner and an award ceremony, with talented entertainers including: Adlan Cruz, Melky Jean, Periko and the Rawsrvnt. The event was co-hosted by Sean Wolfington (winner of the Toronto International Film Festival for “Bella”) and Maddy Curley, star of “Mirror Image”, “The Office” and “CSI New York.”

Sponsors included Schumacher Infiniti of the Palm Beaches, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and the Schumacher Family Foundation.

Press Release for the Global Heart Awards

Tree of Life Foundation International held its first annual Global Heart Award event at the Breakers in Palm Beach. Amanda Schumacher, she founded the organization a global charity which seeks to connect and consolidate global resources and charitable entities to enhance the lives of those in need through networking and fundraising efforts. Its focus is on people, animals and the environment.

The Global Heart Award recognizes the acts of generosity and goodwill demonstrated by extraordinary men and women and organizations on a local, national and international scale. Awards were presented to 34 honorees in 21 categories. The event was hosted by Amanda Schumacher, Mia Mathews and Sean Wolfigton.

The event was sponsored by Hummer of the Palm Beaches, Gucci, Neiman Marcus, Schumacher Automobile, Northern and Trust Bank and South Florida Auto-truck dealers association.
